Jason Aldean flips switch at 8th annual Opry Goes Pink, at the Opry 28th, 2016 show. The flip switch is the traditional switching of the lights on the background barn of the Opry stage. When Aldean comes out, he flips the switch officially, as the Opry show is fully dedicated to Breast Cancer awareness.

Artists that also took part in the night included Hillary Scott & The Scott Family, Mickey Guyton, Chris Young & surprise guest Cassadee Pope. Opry Vice President and General Manager explained the awareness night stating:

“Both Jason Aldean and the Opry have been working for several years now to fight breast cancer.

We’re excited that the ACM’s Entertainer of the Year and the Opry are joining forces this year to make what we know will be a bigger impact than ever.”

Aldean has also been a long-time supporter of Breast Cancer Awareness, with his ‘Concert for a Cure’. This is Aldean’s 11th annual ‘Concert for a Cure’ as he partners with the Opry for this benefit show.
