Eric Church recently made a surprise announcement of his new album Mr. Misunderstood. His most recent album before this new release was The Outsiders which came out in early 2014. With a year under the best of The Outsiders, it was well expected for a new album to be in the making for Church.

Mr. Misunderstood took social media by storm after a surprise announcement in November of 2015. This album is a perfect rendition of the long journey Church had while pursuing a music career. Along with his current status in the country genre, he tends to be split between the young and older country crowd, and this album speaks perfectly to that gap as well.
Eric Church is on top of the genre whether the more traditional country fans don’t approve. We can’t do anything but tip our hat to his work effort and all he has provided to the industry. With releasing this album right before the CMA Awards, while performing his newly released song on it “Mr. Misunderstood,” we hope Church can stay on top and keep on keepin’ on with his wild right in Country Music.
